I have dedicated my career to helping creative individuals understand the tools that can help them work more efficiently and creatively. Bridging the gap between the world of geeks and the that of the creative artists is a result of my passion for both.
Experience
I have done everything from R&D, support, sales, Marketing, Business Development - and as CEO for 15 years played a major part in growing a small company of 5 people from £200K to 100 staff and revenue approaching £20M.
International
My career has been spent largely between UK, Europe, USA and Australia/NZ in the media centric regions of each. I know intimately how to operate successfully in multiple countries whilst remaining small and nibble.
I love small Business
I get a buzz from seeing a small business grow and flourish, and having stepped down from my CEO position (and seeing the company continue to expand and reach new heights), I continue to be interested in helping other companies do the same thing.
Highlights
20 years with a UK based Manufacturer producing groundbreaking Technology for Broadcast and Post Production Companies. Extreme growth so held numerous roles including Product Marketing and Strategic Development. Spent 3 years in USA building a team of Product Specialists to assist Sales. Introduced some of the first Digital Technology for Film Based Visual Effects.
Worked with various voluntary organisations including Govt bodies both on secondment and company sponsored roles.
Joined a small UK based company providing services to the Production community, led a Management buyout and subsequent international Growth. Moved to Los Angeles to accelerate the USA based growth.
